She worked hard to make a personal connection with my boys and this, along with her great therapy techniques, helped each boy meet their speech goals. “My son started speech therapy at just one and half year old. He clearly had the motivation to speak and communicate, but was having trouble forming the words properly and falling behind his peers in social cues and communication skills. His bilingual environment (Chinese and English) made it even more difficult for him to catch up. Over the past 15 years, we have tried essentially every option that we were aware of, including state-sponsored early intervention services as well as private institutions. We’ve had a few successes but many more setbacks. As we were increasingly disappointed with the lack of progress, we were referred to Reyhaneh by a friend 5 years ago. It was immediately apparent to us that she was highly gifted with children and very passionate about her work. We felt like we found the right help. Initially my son visited her once a week, then gradually increased to multiple sessions per week at our home, school and her office.
